Using agencies is a great way to find a new home, and you will more than likely be able to find exactly what you are looking for.  But if you do not, you may want to take a look at foreclosed properties. There are hundreds of these properties throughout every state in the country. In most cases they are a better deal to buyers than more traditional homes that are sold through agencies.
